In an exciting game of 1. Class South/East A succeeded UFC Miesenbach an impressive 7-1 win against the SV rats. After an even start, with both teams creating chances, Miesenbach increasingly gained control and prevailed with a convincing performance. Thanks to the outstanding performances of players like Florian Schneeflock and Stefan Brandtner, who each scored several times, the victory was ultimately safe.

Intense first half – the guests narrowly lead

SV Katzen and UFC Miesenbach had a close exchange of blows in the first half. Daniel Pötz scored the first goal of the game for Miesenbach in the 31st minute and gave the guests a 1-0 lead. But SV Katzen was not impressed and reacted promptly. Just two minutes later, in the 33rd minute, Tadej Kotnik equalized for the home team and made the score 1-1. However, the hosts’ joy was short-lived. Even before half-time, Florian Schneeflock scored the opening goal in the 36th minute to make it 2-1 for Miesenbach.

The first half ended with a narrow lead for the guests. Both teams showed fighting spirit and had further chances, which, however, remained unused. The tension was palpable as the game could have gone either way at this point.

Dominance by Miesenbach in the second half

At the start of the second half, UFC Miesenbach came out of the locker room with even more determination. In the 47th minute, Stefan Brandtner scored again, extending the lead to 3-1 with a penalty. This put SV Ratten under increasing pressure and the guests found their game more and more. In the 54th minute, Brandtner increased again and made it 4-1 for Miesenbach.

SV Katzen could no longer find an answer to the guests’ superior style of play. Florian Schneeflock scored in the 64th minute to make it 5-1 and finally put the hosts’ dream of winning a point to rest. Miesenbach was tireless and continued to look for the way forward. In the 84th minute, Manuel Posch made it 6:1, and shortly before the final whistle, Samuel Pöllabauer scored a fantastic goal to make it 7:1 in the 90th minute.

With this convincing victory, UFC Miesenbach celebrated its position in the league. While SV Ratten got off to a brave start, Miesenbach was clearly the dominant team in the second half. The guests’ efficiency and cold-bloodedness in front of goal were the key to this clear success.
