Eferding UFC 1b started strong – towards the end of the first half there were only ten players

Both teams showed determination from the start, but it was Eferding UFC 1b that maintained the lead. In the 19th minute, Thomas Wachsmann made it 1-0 with a goal. He crowned his strong performance with this goal and thus his first exclamation mark. The guests also had good chances in the early stages, but were unable to convert them into anything worth counting.

The Eferding UFC 1b followed up and increased to 2-0 in the 32nd minute through Rinor Kabashi. After a remarkable interplay, Kabashi impressively sank the ball into the left corner. SV Freinberg tried to achieve success through standard situations, but mostly remained harmless and failed because of the well-disposed Eferding goalkeeper. Shortly before halftime, the Eferding UFC 1b had to accept a yellow-red card after Valmir Hoti had already seen the first box in the tenth minute and went to the shower. Nevertheless, the hosts went into the break with a comfortable lead.

Three red cards in the second half

The second half began with a chance for SV Freinberg, but here too the shot was too central and was easily parried by the Eferdinger goalkeeper. Due to the numerical majority, the guests came out of the locker room with a little more share of the game. In the 53rd minute there were two more exclusions: Benjamin Geier (Freinberg) and Lukas Straßl (Eferding) were each sent off with straight red.

In the 78th minute, another SV Freinberg player was shown the red card after an emergency stop, which made the already difficult game even more difficult for the guests. Just a minute later it was 3-0 for Eferding UFC 1b. Mirsad Memic converted a free kick that slipped through the Freinberg goalkeeper’s fingers, which marked the end of the game. Despite an attempt to score the fourth goal in the final phase, the final score remained a deserved 3-0. SV Freinberg hardly found any means against Eferdinger’s compact defense and had to clearly admit defeat in the end.
