Persona 6 will reportedly have a green color scheme.

Persona 5, the last main branch of the series, was released eight years ago. Time for a sequel, as many fans think. Persona 6 has not yet been revealed, but developer Atlus said in a job advertisement in 2017 that the sixth part should surpass its predecessor. (via GamingBolt)

We summarize all known information and rumors about Persona 6. You can jump to the individual points here:

Notice: This article serves as a collection of currently known information and will be updated regularly as new details become known.

Release: When will Persona 6 be released?

As previously mentioned, Persona 6 hasn’t even been officially revealed yet. Accordingly, there is no fixed release date yet.

But of course that doesn’t stop the rumor mill from simmering: X-User p0wyful leaked several pieces of information about the game in a thread and also revealed that Persona 6 will be released in summer 2025 should aim for and will get several DLCs. The leaker also speculates that the game will be revealed at the Game Awards 2024.

The information is particularly interesting because well-known Sega leaker Ryanfrombronx, formerly known as Midori, has also confirmed that a lot of the information in the thread is correct. Of course, as always, you should treat leaks with due caution.

Platforms: Is Persona 6 coming to PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch?

There is no official information here either. Traditionally, main offshoots of the series first appear on PlayStation, but Atlus has changed its strategy in recent years. While Persona 5 was still exclusive to PS3 and PS4, the remastered version was also released for Xbox One, Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. And Persona 3 Reload also landed on Xbox immediately upon release.

It is also quite possible that Persona 6 will not be released exclusively for PS5, but will also land on Xbox and possibly even the Nintendo Switch successor.

Is there a trailer for Persona 6?

No, there is no trailer or official footage yet. We have to be patient here a little longer.

What do we know about Persona 6’s story and theme?

Here too, we have so far had to rely on information from leakers p0wyful and ryanfrombronx. Accordingly, the title color of the sixth main spin-off should be green – interestingly enough, this reinforces a fan theory that is based on the official artwork for the series’ 25th anniversary. All the protagonists of the series were positioned here and a green paint bucket can be seen on the side:

In the bottom left corner the P6 protagonists should actually continue. Instead there is a paint bucket there.

According to the leaks, the motif of Persona 6 will also revolve around “black and white” and according to ResetEra leaker Head on the Block and p0wyful we get two protagonists: Kuro and Shiro. We can probably play both, but the male protagonist should have a larger part of the story.

p0wyful also reports that this time the setting will be an art school, a semi-open world awaits us and social links will be significantly expanded for this part.
