Mentor4Dogs club festival and flea market: meeting place for dogs and people

On Sunday, October 13, 2024, a special event took place in Lutzmannsburg: the club festival and flea market of the animal welfare association Mentor4Dogs, which is dedicated to the well-being of dogs. In a lovingly designed ambience, directly in the private courtyard of the club chairwoman Petra Chiba, numerous visitors came together to find out about the work of the club, enjoy homemade delicacies and browse the flea market.

Animal welfare in focus

LUTZMANNSBURG. As always, the focus of the event is: Mentor4Dogs, the welfare of the animals. Petra Chiba, the chairwoman and committed founder of the association, emphasized in her speech how important it is to find a loving and permanent home for the 125 dogs currently housed in the Hungarian Szentes rescue center. For this reason, only a small number of dogs were on site – too much excitement would not be beneficial for the four-legged friends. However, Petra made it clear that all of the club’s dogs are eagerly waiting for a new family that will give them care and security.

A meeting place for dogs and people

The club festival, which took place in Petra Chiba’s private courtyard in Lutzmannsburg without any public subsidies, was a warm gathering of former residents and interested parties. There were homemade specialties, Christmas decorations and dog accessories for sale, while the flea market offered a wide range of second-hand items until 3 p.m. A raffle rounded off the program and provided additional excitement. But what was particularly important to Petra Chiba was to create a meeting place for dogs and people. Volunteers are there Mentor4Dogs Always welcome, because there is hardly anything better than changing a dog’s life through human attention.
