Marc-Andrea Hüsler (ATP 156) defeated Sweden’s Lucas Renard (ATP 1047) 6-0, 6-0 in just 46 minutes in qualifying for the ATP 250 tournament in Stockholm. The left-hander also needed 1:01 hours in the final qualifying round in a 6:2, 6:2 win against Zsombor Piros (HUN/ATP 247). In the main draw on Monday, the Zurich native will face Lorenzo Sonego (ITA/ATP 49), against whom he lost his only duel so far last year in Dubai in two sets.

Dominic Stricker (ATP 322) will also be in action on Monday. The 22-year-old from Bern trained from a protected ranking after his long-term back injury and will face Aleksandar Kovacevic (USA/ATP 76) in the starting round.

Stan Wawrinka (ATP 236), who has a wild card, will take part in the action on Tuesday and challenge Brandon Nakashima (USA/ATP 35), who is ranked 6th. The 39-year-old Romand won the two previous duels in three sets, two years ago in Basel and last year in Cincinnati.
