East Frisia – A 26-year-old raced through East Frisia in his tuned car at speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour. He also passed residential areas and schools and caused an uproar among local residents. He shares videos of his street races on social media under the artificial name “IPrime” – thereby documenting his own crimes.

For a long time it seemed as if the police were doing nothing. Then another content creator by the name of “Bambam TV” chimes in and criticizes both the “death racer” – as he calls him – and the authorities. However, the police were already on the case. In February of this year, “IPrime” had his driver’s license revoked. Six months later he appeared in court.

The 26-year-old has uploaded a total of around 100 hours of video material to his channels. In the first court case, it is a video in particular that slows down IPrime, in which he engages in a daring race with a motorcyclist.

In the new episode of the true crime podcast Tatort Northwest, moderator Julian Reusch talks to Arne Jürgens, reporter from the NWZ topic team Police and Justice, about who the person behind the synonym IPrime is and how the court proceedings went.
