CoD Black Ops 6: Pre-Download, Download, Storage Space

When does the preload start? According to the information from the X account “PlayStation Game Size”, the preload of Black Ops will go online on October 20, 2024, 6 a.m. A specific time is not yet known. Here you can find all the information about BO6 in a large overview.

How secure is the leak? The PlayStation Game Size account distributes information based on data read directly from the PlayStation Store. For this reason, the information is considered very secure, but so far it is still a leak. Things can change even at short notice. The information only applies to the PS4. However, BO6 will appear on all platforms at the same time, including Xbox Game Pass. There should no longer be any advantages for PlayStation players.

How big will the download be? The post on X already reveals the download sizes for certain parts of Black Ops 6 on PlayStation 4:

  • Campaign Pack 1: 11.5 GB
  • Campaign Pack 2: 15.9 GB
  • Multiplayer pack: 12.1 GB

However, we don’t yet know the total download size of the complete game. On top of that there is the “Call of Duty” hub, which has been used by developers in recent years as a link between the individual games. There also seem to be essential files for BO6 there, which makes the download justified. If you don’t have the hub, you can still expect a download of between 60 and 80 GB, possibly even more. Here you can take a look at the first known maps.
