Changing coach doesn’t help: Jets demands Bills

The New York Jets around star quarterback Aaron Rodgers were unable to stop their downward trend in the NFL in the first game after the dismissal of head coach Robert Salah. The team from the Big Apple lost 20:23 to the Buffalo Bills in their own stadium on Tuesday night and suffered their third defeat in a row.

Rodgers, who had missed almost the entire preseason due to a torn Achilles tendon, was unable to prevent his fourth defeat of the season in the sixth game with two touchdown passes and a total of 294 yards of space – although the 40-year-old did a spectacular “Hail Mary”, a desperation throw with the clock running out, was successful on his receiver Allen Lazard. Rodgers also made an interception.

It was the fourth win of the season for the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen (two touchdown passes, one touchdown run). “We found a way to win,” Allen told ESPN: “We got sloppy in the second half, but it was a team win. We’ll take it with us.”

The Jets parted ways with Saleh about a week ago due to the unsatisfactory start to the season. The previous defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will lead the team until the end of the season.
