Jets lose to Bills with new head coach

Jets lose to Bills with new head coach

The New York Jets around star quarterback Aaron Rodgers also lost the first game after parting ways with head coach Robert Saleh. There was a 20:23 defeat against the division rival Buffalo Bills on Monday. The coach until the end of the season is the current defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.

The Jets have now lost four of the six games of the season so far in the National Football League (NFL), the Bills have four wins from six games. “It’s always the little things. I want to win these games,” said an obviously frustrated Rodgers after the defeat. “We were terrible in the red zone and missed two field goals. It’s disappointing.”

A successful “Hail Mary” pass from Rodgers is not enough

With the clock running out in the first half, Rodgers had a “Hail Mary” when he threw the ball 52 yards into the end zone and reached his pass receiver, Alan Lazard. This brought the Jets within 17:20 of the guests, and they then equalized with a field goal in the third quarter.

The Bills then took the lead again with a field goal before an intercepted Rodgers pass with 1:52 minutes left made the decision. After the interception, all Buffalo had to do was stay in possession of the ball.

“We found a way to win. We got a little sloppy in the second half. It was a team victory. We fought back, I’m proud of everyone,” said Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Like Rodgers, Allen threw two touchdowns in his 100th NFL game, but went without an interception and ran another touchdown himself. Both teams incurred many penalties and lost a combined total of more than 200 yards of ball position. “The penalties were ridiculous. Then we can play another sport,” complained Rodgers.
