Trailer, theme and more for Friendly Fire 10

Since 2015, Gronkh and the guys from PietSmiet have been hosting their annual charity event Friendly Fire on Twitch. In 2024, the big anniversary edition will be all about Assassin’s Creed. You can find all information about the event on MeinMMO.

What kind of event is this? Friendly Fire is an annual charity event hosted by Twitch streamers Erik “Gronkh” Range and gamer troupe PietSmiet. In a 12-hour stream, the content creators compete against each other in entertaining competitions and joke around.

All the fun is for a good cause: last year, more than 1 million euros in donations were raised for charitable organizations such as Children’s Aid or the Bahnhofsmission. In 2024 the charity gala will go into its 10th round, we have all the information about the big anniversary event for you.

This time the theme is Japan with Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Friendly Fire turns 10: All information about the big anniversary edition

What is the theme of Friendly Fire 10? Ubisoft, which already set the tone thematically in 2020 with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and in 2021 with Far Cry 6, was once again able to be won as the main sponsor. This time the recently delayed Assassin’s Creed Shadows served as inspiration.

Which creators are included? Friendly Fire 10 will take place with the usual line-up after three participants dropped out last year. The participating content creators are:

Where is Friendly Fire 10 running? The stream will take place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. on PietSmiet’s Twitch channel. The pre-show starts at 2 p.m. with the countdown to the event.

Where does the spending go? Seven charities were selected for the event in addition to the Friendly Fire Emergency Relief Fund. As usual, they will be presented in the one-hour countdown before the actual event.

In total, Friendly Fire has raised more than 10 million euros for charity so far. The record is currently held by the seventh edition with almost 2 million euros. It remains to be seen whether the group around Gronkh and the Piets can beat this record again for the big anniversary event.
