Minnesota Frost 2024-25 Release Schedule; The home opener is scheduled for December 1st

Reigning PWHL champion Minnesota Frost released its schedule for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday.

In addition to an expanded 30-game schedule, the second season of PWHL action will feature new team names and brand identities for the league’s founding “Inaugural Six” members.

The puck will drop on Minnesota’s first season as a Frost on Sunday, Dec. 1, with a match against the New York Sirens at the Xcel Energy Center. The Frost conclude the season on May 3rd with an away game against their 2024 final opponent, the Boston Fleet.

There will be three breaks for international competition throughout the season, including a three-week break from April 3-25 for the IIHF Women’s World Championship in the Czech Republic.

Some of the scheduled games will be played at “non-primary venues,” but those locations have not yet been determined. Last season, the Frost hosted Toronto at 3M Arena in Mariucci at the same time the Minnesota Wild had a home game at the Xcel Energy Center.

Minnesota begins training camp Nov. 12 at Tria Rink in downtown St. Paul. The Frost announced their 28-man training camp roster last week; According to PWHL rules, each team can field a maximum of 23 active players and three reserve players at any time.

The Frost’s full schedule and season ticket information is available on the team’s website. Streaming and broadcast information will be released at a later date.
