Friendly Fire 10 has a samurai theme, but the star is a Lurch on Gronkh’s armor

The Friendly Fire donation stream has been around for ten years now, and now the next date has traditionally been announced with a short video. This time the attention is not only on the action itself and the stylish trailer, but also on a detail of Gronkh’s costume.

A amphibian is the secret star

The Japanese setting of the video can be traced back to this year’s sponsor: Ubisoft and its upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The costume design is once again full of details, but there is a special element on Gronkh’s samurai armor for fans of his videos – the amphibian on his chest.

This inconspicuous animal has become a running gag in Gronkh’s community for several years. The YouTuber originally enjoyed hunting the amphibians there and cracked a few jokes in his Let’s Play for The Forest.

The allusion to Lurche is now also an integral part of his streams. Some fans like Eki and ZyLaDoN are now excited about the armor on X (formerly Twitter).

When does the event start? The 12-hour campaign for a good cause begins on December 7th at 2 p.m.
