Apple’s iPhone SE 4 leaked case image reveals design changes ahead of launch

Apple’s iPhone SE 4 leaked case image reveals design changes ahead of launch

With the recent release of the iPhone 16 series, anticipation is growing for the upcoming iPhone SE 4. As speculation grows, new leaks, including chassis renders, suggest that this budget model could bear a striking resemblance to the iPhone 7 Plus.

The leaked images by a tipster on dual camera setup. If true, it would be a notable change for Apple’s SE series, which typically features simpler camera settings. However, there is also the possibility that this recess could easily house a single camera with a flash next to it.

Interestingly, the design appears to take cues from the iPhone 7 Plus, rather than adopting the iPhone 14’s sleeker look. This suggests that while the SE 4 has some modern internals, its exterior might seem a bit dated compared to Apple’s latest flagship devices.

Previous leaks suggested that the SE 4 could potentially adopt features from the iPhone 16 series, such as the Action Button and advanced camera controls. However, the current case design suggests that the placement of the volume, power and mute buttons remains unchanged from previous SE models, which should provide a familiar user experience.

While the design may not signal a major update, the iPhone SE 4 is said to feature the new Apple A18 chipset, which is also found in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. This could significantly increase performance and efficiency, offering a strong appeal to users looking for a capable budget option. Additionally, the SE 4 is expected to replace the physical home button with Face ID, bringing it more in line with Apple’s current flagship devices.

As for the display, recent rumors suggest that the iPhone SE 4 could feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen, a major improvement for the SE series. It may also include a single 48MP camera sensor that enhances its photography capabilities. Additionally, the expected inclusion of the action button first seen on the iPhone 15 Pro would bring a new level of functionality to this budget-friendly phone.

According to reports, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in spring 2025 and will be priced at around $499 or around Rs 42,000. As anticipation builds, it will be interesting to see how Apple balances performance, design and affordability in this highly anticipated device, appealing to those looking for quality without breaking the bank.
