The highly anticipated Honkai Star Rail 2.7 update is coming soon and leaks have revealed exciting details about new banners, characters and storylines. Here’s what we know so far.

Honkai Star Rail 2.7 Update Release Date

Although there is no official HoYoverse release date yet, recent drip marketing from Fugue on the game’s official X account (formerly Twitter) suggests that the update is on the way. Based on the usual six-week update cycle, it is likely that update 2.7 will be released around December 3, 2024. However, we are still waiting for an official confirmation from the developers.

• Phase 1: Sunday
• Sunday is scheduled to appear on the first banner, which is expected to go live on December 3, 2024.
• He is an imaginary 5-star character from the Harmony Path, and although details about his equipment are still secret, leaks suggest that he will be a strong support character, able to advance actions and increase the damage of to increase allies.
• Phase 2: Fugue
• Fugue, an alternate form of Tingyun, is scheduled for the second banner release around December 25, 2024.
• She is a 5-star fire elemental character who follows the Nihility path and whose abilities are believed to focus on weakening and controlling enemies.

Fugue’s Story Leaks

Leaked story details provide insight into Fugue’s background and reveal that her return is tied to a deep and complex conspiracy involving her connection to Phantylia, one of the seven Lord Ravagers of the Antimatter Legion.

According to the leaks:

• Fugue was once on the verge of death due to her encounter with Phantylia. However, thanks to Ruan Mei’s intervention, she survived, but now harbors the indomitable power of destruction.
• Her rescue was no accident – Fugue is now embroiled in a larger conflict between the eons. She takes control of her destiny by volunteering to support the Xianzhou Alliance and becoming a key figure in their fight.

This storyline reveals more about Tingyun’s transformation and explains her central role in the coming conflict.
