For just 17 euros: Lidl sells the perfect complement to the smartwatch

With a fitness tracker and smartwatch, you can always keep an eye on the steps taken, your blood oxygen level (SpO2), your heart rate and your sleeping behavior. What the wearables cannot monitor is your weight. For this you still need a scale. At Lidl you can now secure such a model with Bluetooth connectivity at a particularly affordable price.

The discounter has reduced the price of the Silvercrest Personal Care diagnostic scale with the “HealthForYou” app in its online shop. The scale not only measures your weight, but also determines body fat, water and muscle percentage as well as bone mass and your calorie needs. This can be transferred to your cell phone via Bluetooth – but you have to install the free HealthForYou app.

Thanks to sensor buttons, the scale can also be used without an app. In addition, up to 8 people can be registered on the scale, so that it can be used by several people in the household and the results are not distorted.

Lidl normally charges 24.99 euros for the scales, and the discounter is currently reducing the price to 17.99 euros. A good offer. Other retailers do not currently offer the Silvercrest scales, so price comparisons are not possible. Lidl offers the scales in black and white.

However, the scale has one drawback. You cannot share the data from the app with Google Fit or Apple Health, but only export it as a PDF. Of course, you can use them manually in the respective app and merge them with the data from your wearable to get a more precise picture.
