The fan information about the game in Porto

The Hoffenheim fan representatives have collected all the important information to prepare you for the Europa League game at FC Porto (Thursday, 9 p.m.).

Directions and parking

The Ribeira area is designated by the police as a meeting point, including Avenida dos Aliados. Here you will find several metro lines and bus stations that lead from Avenida dos Aliados to “Estadio do Dragão”.

Please be sure to use the metro. We recommend that you travel to the stadium when the stadium opens.

Arrival is only possible by public transport. There is no parking available on site.

Please buy your metro tickets in advance (online). The Porto Card was recommended, which can be purchased online in advance.

Otherwise, metro tickets can be purchased at the stations, the tourist information center and at the airport (Andante = top-up card).

From the “Trindade” stop, take the subway line B or F to the “Estadio do Dragao” subway stop.

The journey time is approximately eight minutes (five stops).

After leaving the subway station you are directly in front of the entrance to the guest block “Portas/Gates 19-24”.

More information

To register fan paraphernalia, please contact fan support.

Registration of fence flags and (waving) flags is also only possible via fan relations, as strict rules apply in Porto regarding the taking of material.

Stadium opening and box office:

The stadium will open 120 minutes (6 p.m. local time) before the game.

Attention: There is a time difference in Portugal, kick-off is at 8 p.m. and the stadium opens at 6 p.m. (Portuguese time).

There will be no box office on site.

Note: In Porto there is no “official” standing room in the guest block. It will therefore happen that people stand in the block.

There is a ‘dedicated’ staircase that leads directly to the admission controls. This is located in front of the “Estádio do Dragão” metro station.

There are controls to get to the forecourt and further controls at the entrances to the guest block. The checks are carried out by the police and the security service.

Entrances: gates 19 and 20

You can pay with all common payment options (cash, card, cell phone). No drinks or food are allowed to be taken with you.

There is no alcohol in the stadium.

If there is a significant influence of drugs/alcohol, which is evident at the entrance, access will be refused.

Bags up to A4 can be taken with you.

There is a free drop-off point that opens two hours before the game starts. It is located at entrance 20.

No professional cameras (with lenses) are allowed.

Smoking is not permitted in closed areas. Smoking is permitted in the stands and in designated areas.

There will be a block closure on site. This usually takes around 40 to 50 minutes. During the lockdown, it is possible for those separated to go to the toilet.

No umbrellas are allowed.

Power banks can be taken with you.

The instructions of the police and security services must be strictly followed. Please be attentive and always remain calm.
