The Nashville Predators with captain Roman Josi are off to a disastrous start to the season. The Bernese team is still without points after four games.

In the 2:4 home defeat against the Edmonton Oilers, Josi appeared as a passer twice. But the two goals from his colleagues were not enough to finally score. The tight party was ultimately decided by an empty-netter. The Oilers got on track with their second win after three opening defeats, the Predators are still on the sidelines. The last time the 2022 season started failed to this extent.

In contrast to Nashville, the Vancouver Canucks achieved their first win with Pius Suter in the fourth game. The Florida Panthers won 3-2 in overtime. The Canucks reached overtime for the third time in this championship.

The Los Angeles Kings with Kevin Fiala are also under pressure after three defeats in the series. With the 4-1 away win at the Montreal Canadiens, the liberation effort was achieved confidently. Fiala remained without a scorer point for once.

Three scorer points for Moser

This is in contrast to Janis Moser. The Biel defender contributed one goal and two assists to the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. No other player achieved three points that evening in the Amalie Arena in Florida. With six points from three parties, the Lightning have a flawless record.

The Swiss faction of the New Jersey Devils left the ice as winners. Nico Hischier, Timo Meier with an assist and Jonas Siegenthaler won 3-1 away at the Ottawa Senators. The Devils lead the Eastern Conference table with five wins from seven games. Philipp Kuraschew was also one of the winners with the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night (4:2 against the San Jose Sharks).
