There is new information and leaks about the upcoming game Call of Duty 2025. Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming has also confirmed that the leaks and information are real.

A sequel to the Black Ops 2: COD 2025 campaign set in 2035

Call of Duty 2025 is rumored to take place in 2035, with David Mason as the protagonist, who will continue the storyline of Black Ops 2. This is said to be a sequel to the Black Ops 2 game.

Fans of the Black Ops series, following in the footsteps of Cold War and Black Ops 6, should expect a few minor narrative points, but the series’ underlying theme of espionage will remain intact.

This includes a deeper plot about information warfare and global espionage, which is quite refreshing and interesting for COD fans.

Multiplayer: Human Shields and Omnimovement return

This time, multiplayer in Call of Duty 2025 brings back fan-favorite mechanics along with some new features. Human shields, known to be a popular feature of the Cold War campaign, will also return.

You can use the enemies as shields and even attach grenades to them before throwing them back into battle.

Omnimovement will also return, offering expanded movement options including wall jumps. However, it is important to note that this is not the Exo move of the previous titles.

Classic maps and futuristic weapons

More classic maps will return in Call of Duty 2025, just like Modern Warfare III. In addition, we will also see popular modes such as Face Off and Gunfight in the game.

One of the more exciting developments in multiplayer is the introduction of “Networked Perks,” a new system where benefits are shared across the team, potentially opening up new strategies and improving team-based play. We will also have a variety of futuristic weapons and advanced types of equipment in the game.

Zombies: Turn-based mode with a huge map and 8-player option

Zombie mode in Call of Duty 2025 will focus solely on turn-based gameplay. This game will feature one of the largest Zombies maps in the series with a teleportation system.

In addition to the traditional turn-based format, there will be an 8-player option and a classic mode. Classic mode allows players to start with just a pistol and, over time, push them to craft armor and search for other weapons.

The leaks indicate that Call of Duty 2025 will serve as the Black Ops 6 equivalent to Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III.

It will be a continuation of the themes, mechanics and possibly even shared story elements between the two titles, providing fans of the Black Ops series with an exciting and cohesive experience.
