One manufacturer will soon be launching Android 15

There is a date: On October 24, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. (German local time) OnePlus will show you the new OxygenOS 15 update in a live stream. When exactly the update will be distributed in Germany remains unclear. There is already a roadmap for compatible devices and the release window for China.

This means that the smartphones from OnePlus and Oppo (along with Vivo) may be next in line after the Pixel phones to receive the update. Because the new Android update is already here, but only for Pixel smartphones.

Samsung is usually at the forefront of distributing the Android 15 update. However, the South Korean manufacturer has only confirmed the update for 2025.

OxygenOS 15 at a glance

The OxygenOS 15 update, based on Android 15, brings a lot of improvements and features. Both frequent users and creative minds should benefit from them.

The innovations include::

• Reconstruction of animations for smoother effects.
• Introducing AI features to increase productivity and creativity.

OxygenOS 15 and ColorOS 15: Device list and release plan published

Which OnePlus and Oppo devices will receive the update has already been confirmed, at least for China. As Notebookcheck reports, the manufacturer has published an official list of devices including a release window.

Further updates for Android 15-capable devices will follow in 2025. Although the release plan applies to China, the introduction in other countries should not be long in coming. We will report as soon as there is more information about this.
