Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Republican challenger Eric Hovde will meet tonight for their first and only scheduled debate.

The debate is presented by the nonpartisan Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and moderated on WMTV in Madison. It airs on stations across Wisconsin as well as C-SPAN and WisconsinEye.

While Hovde urged Baldwin to agree to additional debates in Milwaukee and Green Bay, Baldwin did not accept this. That means Friday’s debate will likely be the only time voters will hear from both candidates side by side.
