X Air Pro+: MacBook Air alternative starts with fast OLED for the equivalent of 550 euros and weighs only one kilo

With the Infinix X Air Pro+, a new notebook is coming onto the market that is light and compact. Offers for the notebook will appear shortly and initially only in India – at a price equivalent to around 550 euros. This is a discounted price and sales start on October 22nd. The list price is the equivalent of around 770 euros.

The notebook is certainly an alternative to the MacBook Air, but it is not surprising that it uses Windows 11 as the operating system. The Intel Core i5-1334U is used, which is a mid-range processor with 10 computing cores. The main memory is 16 gigabytes in size and 4,267 MHz fast LPDDR4X RAM is used. At least the model variant on offer uses a 512 gigabyte SSD.

With dimensions of 315.6 x 225.6 millimeters and a thickness of 15.3 millimeters, it is a compact model that only weighs one kilogram. The 14-inch screen has a resolution of 2,880 x 1,880 pixels, the OLED offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces are completely covered, the color deviation is given as Delta E less than 1.

An illuminated keyboard is installed, although it is hard to imagine any other way due to its compact dimensions – without a numeric keypad. The Full HD webcam can be used for video calls. Using IR sensors, the laptop can be unlocked with a photo of your own face. A fingerprint sensor is missing. HDMI, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 in Type A and two USB Type C are available.
