“I wanted to teach people”

His life, his progress, his optimism – he records it all on social media. Hundreds of thousands follow him on Tiktok. «At the beginning I wanted to clarify things. Wanted people to understand what was wrong with me. I thought I had to teach people.” Things are different today. “I want to show that life goes on even after such an accident, that it is worth living.” And the social media posts are also a calling card for my sport.” He hasn’t found true love through social media yet. He lives alone in Zurich. “But dating doesn’t bother me. Maybe there are women who won’t be interested anymore when they see that I’m in a wheelchair.” He laughs mischievously again. “But that’s a really good filter. So only the good ones come.” Carnovali dreams of one day starting a family and building a career. Maybe also as a motivational speaker. “And I would like to live somewhere by the sea.”
