Tank P3: New rugged smartwatch launches with discount and RGB lighting on Amazon

A new smartwatch from Rogbid is now available on Amazon. The Rogbid Tank P3 can be ordered at a price of 80 euros – a voucher can currently be activated until November 7th, which reduces the price by 30 percent. It is still unclear whether the list price will actually ever be called. The sale is carried out by Rogbid and shipping is carried out by Amazon.

The name Tank already shows it: The smartwatch is particularly robust from the manufacturer. Various tests should be carried out in accordance with MIL-STD-810, which should demonstrate a certain resistance to damage caused by falls or dust. Apparently the watch is supposed to be protected against water damage up to a test pressure of 5 ATM, and there is an IP68 certification. The housing is made of metal, with titanium alloy even being used.

A 1.91-inch screen based on AMOLED technology is used, which has a resolution of 240 x 296 pixels and is therefore not particularly high resolution. There is lighting on the side consisting of eight RGB LEDs, which can be used for notifications – but can also be switched off. It can also be used as a flashlight, which could be a real added value. Bluetooth telephony is supported because a microphone and loudspeaker are built in – the use of voice assistants is also possible. Heart rate and oxygen saturation can be measured, sporting activities can be recorded, and some sports can be recognized automatically by the manufacturer. Sleep tracking is supported.
