Outraged heckler mocks New York Mayor Eric Adams at Labor Day Parade over numerous government investigations: “Come and get him!”

An outraged heckler attacked Mayor Adams during Saturday’s Labor Day Parade over the numerous federal investigations into his administration – while Governor Hochul and other politicians silenced his counterpart during the sparsely attended procession.

“FBI, Mayor Adams is here!” the spectator shouted as the march crossed West 46th Street and 5th Avenue.

“He’s here and probably has his cell phone with him! Pick him up!” the woman continued.

Adams ignored the troublemaker, who angrily shouted, “God, I hate the mayor,” to the crowd.

Democratic politicians – including Governor Hochul, New York Attorney General Letitia James, Senator Chuck Schumer and City Treasurer Brad Lander – were careful to keep their distance from the mayor during the parade along Fifth Avenue.

James and Hochul marched at the front of a group of dignitaries and seemed to get along well, smiling and laughing with one another, while Adams, ironically wearing a navy blue LOVE baseball cap, sulked a few rows back. At one point, he was about 25 feet away from Hochul, who was also flanked by Manhattan and Queens borough presidents Mark Levine and Donovan Richards Jr.

During a photo opportunity before the parade began, Hochul and Adams did not speak once and stood on opposite sides of a group gathered for a photo.

At last year’s parade, Hochul and Adams marched just feet away from each other.

This cold-blooded response comes just days after federal investigators, along with New York police, launched a shocking series of raids targeting members of Adams’ inner circle.

On Wednesday, federal agents raided the home of Police Commissioner Edward Caban, whose twin brother, a shady former NYPD sergeant, is also under investigation for allegedly working as a “fixer” at a fancy nightspot, the sources said.

According to sources, James Caban, 56, allegedly helped mediate any disputes between the business and police related to violations and was also issued a search warrant and subpoena by authorities.

The investigation is being led by prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, who are also looking into Adams’ top aides and are also conducting a separate probe into the mayor’s 2021 campaign finance, sources said.

Other top Adams officials targeted in raids this week include Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks, as well as Schools Chancellor David Banks and First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright, according to law enforcement sources, who said federal authorities showed up with search warrants and seized their electronic devices.

According to sources, authorities have also subpoenaed the phone numbers of another of Adams’ associates, retired NYPD Inspector Timothy Pearson.

When asked about the federal investigation, James declined to comment, while Hochul ran away from a Post reporter who wanted to ask about the investigation.

The mayor reiterated to a Post reporter that he stands by his top cop despite calls for Caban to resign following the raid on his home and urged New Yorkers to wait for the investigation.

“We believe strongly in what this country stands for – a fair trial,” he said. “Let the trial take its course.”

His husband, meanwhile, dismissed concerns that New Yorkers might lose faith in his government in light of the countless investigations involving his officials and close associates.

“The true test of a person is … whether they are able to continue to evolve even when there is a lot going on around them,” he told the Post. “I have shown that I am capable of doing that.”
