Tennis News: German group: USA wins clearly against Chile

The favored team from Chile suffered a surprisingly clear opening defeat in the German Davis Cup group. The South Americans, who included the two top 30 players Alejandro Tabilo and Nicolas Jarry, were beaten 0-3 by the USA in Zhuhai, China.

Reilly Opelka and Brandon Nakashima each secured the success of the Americans with three-set victories after the two singles matches, and they also won the doubles in three sets.

Germany now against Chile
