Anupriya Goenka will be seen on screen in Berlin alongside Rahul Bose.

Why so intimate

In a recent interview with News18, she revealed that Rahul, who was mostly talkative on the sets, was very quiet on the day the steamy scene had to be shot. This was because the actor was shy and was trying to remain calm.

“We didn’t actually film, we just posed for some pictures. I can’t tell you how shy he was and I loved watching him like that! The fangirl in me quickly turned into someone who teased him,” said Anupria.

The 37-year-old added: “The pictures turned out beautiful, even though it was an uncomfortable situation.”

She also admitted that she was nervous and tried very hard to appear confident. In the interview, Anupria also revealed that she had a major crush on Rahul as a child and that working with him was a big deal for her.

About Berlin

The spy thriller is set in New Delhi in the 1990s. Directed by Atul Sabharwal, Berlin features an ensemble cast including Aparshakti Khurana, Ishwak Singh, Rahul Bose, Anupria Goenka and Kabir Bedi. It promises to be a story of undercover activities, deceit and moral ambiguity. Berlin is produced by Zee Studios and Yippee Ki Yay Motion Pictures and is streaming on ZEE5.

The story revolves around three main characters whose lives collide in unexpected ways. Ishwak is a deaf-mute young man accused of being a foreign spy. Aparshakti is a sign language expert whose job it is to unravel the secrets hidden in silence. Anupria plays the role of an agent while Rahul plays that of an intelligence officer who not only fights against external threats but also the shadows within his own agency.
