In total, each team plays eight games in the league phase, the best eight advance to the round of 16, and places 9 to 24 in the table take part in a play-off.

Champions League TV rights 2024/25

TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video share the live broadcast rights for the 2024/25 Champions League.

If you already have BT Broadband, you can add TNT Sports to your existing contract from just £18 per month. You can add the ‘Big Sport’ package for £40 per month, which includes all TNT Sports and 11 Sky Sports channels via a NOW Pass.

You can also access TNT Sports via Discovery+ and stream directly to your Smart TV.

You can watch the game on TNT Sports with the Discovery+ Premium Monthly Pass without signing a contract.

Regular subscribers can also stream games on a variety of devices including laptops, smartphones and tablets via the Discovery+ app.

Amazon Prime Video will broadcast one highlight game per round of the Champions League this season.

Amazon’s football coverage can be streamed on the Amazon Prime Video website and app – all you need is an account.

New customers can sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime – this normally costs £8.99 per month – and watch all the football shows shown on the platform.
