How does the new snack trend taste?

How does the new snack trend taste?

A completely sealed kebab that doesn’t drip. People in downtown Hamburg are willing to wait in long queues for the “UFO kebab.”

People wait up to an hour to try a new food trend: a noticeably long queue is currently forming in front of a snack bar on Mönckebergstrasse. “Ufo Döner” is the name of the alleged “world first”, which is only available in Hamburg and is arousing curiosity.

The operator of “Mönkey’s Kebab & Fries” wants to solve a problem with the new version of the popular snack: Because eating kebabs can be quite greasy, the new “Ufo Döner” is completely closed. The halves of the bread are pressed together in a special contact grill. “Eat without messing” is therefore the advertising slogan.

The contents of the bread are no different from other kebabs. The “UFO kebab” is also filled with veal or chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red cabbage, onions and sauce.

And how does it taste? The snack bar currently scores very well on Google with 4.7 out of 5 stars. In the reviews, the testers praise the fresh ingredients, the “perfectly seasoned” meat and the friendly service. One user commented: “I have never eaten anything so delicious here in Hamburg. It stands out from everything else, the UFO Döner in particular is fun to eat.” A few reviewers are dissatisfied, however, with the long waiting time and “small portions” at “high prices”.

“Mönkey’s Kebab & Fries” is located between Spitalerstrasse and Mönckebergstrasse at Langen Mühren 14. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., except Sundays.
