UGC NET 2024 Answer Key Objection Deadline Expired, Results Next on ugcnet.nta.ac.in | Competitive Exams

Once announced, candidates can check the UGC NET result, cut-offs and scorecards on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has closed the extended appeal period for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2024 on September 14. As per the practice in the past, the agency is expected to announce the entrance test results next. Once these are announced, candidates can check the UGC NET result, cut-offs and scorecards on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The provisional answer keys of UGC NET were released in phases and the candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, on payment of 200 per question.

Candidates’ appeals will be examined by a panel of subject experts and, if found to be valid, the final answer key will be revised accordingly.

After the announcement, candidates can check the UGC NET exam result using the application number and date of birth. These are the steps they need to follow:

How to check UGC NET Result 2024?

  1. Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Open the scorecard download link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
  4. Submit your result and check it.

UGC NET 2024: Check the evaluation scheme

  • Each question in the exam is worth 2 points.
  • For each correct answer the candidate receives 2 points.
  • There are no negative points in the exam.
  • No points will be awarded or deducted for questions not answered/not attempted to be answered and questions marked for review.
  • To answer a question, the candidate only had to select one option.
  • If a question is incorrect/ambiguous or contains multiple correct answers, full marks will be awarded to candidates who attempted the question and chose one of the correct answers.
  • If a question is found to be incorrect and eliminated, two points will be awarded to the candidates who attempted to answer the question.
