Sex confession and first one-on-one date for Meringer at the Bachelorette

Every Monday, the paid streaming service RTL+ presents a new episode of the “Bachelorette”. Martin Michelius from Mering also mingles with the candidates in the dating format and hopes to win the last rose from the bisexual bachelorette Stella Stegmann. The 35-year-old is able to score some major points on the first one-on-one date of the season.

In episode five, Martin finally goes on a date with the bachelorette Stella Stegmann. On a group date on a floating luxury beach club, Martin has to assert himself against his competition. But instead of having in-depth conversations, Stella first asks the men and women about their sexual habits. “A gentleman keeps quiet and enjoys himself,” says Martin, who is visibly uncomfortable with the conversation. Ultimately, however, the Meringer does come clean and tells of boozy fun in the dressing room of a shop. The bachelorette seems convinced and promptly invites Martin on a one-on-one date.

“I actually had Martin on my mind a little beforehand, also because I noticed that he takes a back seat in the group,” explains Stella in an interview. This means that Martin secures the first date of the season. The two of them go on a jet ski to a picturesque beach, where Martin can impress the Bachelorette. “As an athlete, you are often reduced to your body, but many forget that there can also be a nice and sensible guy behind it,” says Martin, scoring points with Stella. His wish to become a father one day also convinces the 27-year-old: “I feel very comfortable with him.”

During a conversation in the water, the Meringer talks about his ideas about relationships: “I’m definitely looking for a partner for life. If the trust is big enough at some point, you can of course think about opening up the relationship.” While Stella already imagined what a relationship with Martin could look like, Martin confessed that he initially had serious doubts about whether taking part was the right thing for him. The very open Bachelorette and female competition had initially intimidated the 35-year-old a little.

Stella is relieved that Martin stayed and tells the interview that she thought about kissing the man from Mering, but the right moment never came and the date ends without a kiss. “I liked Martin before and now I like him even better,” reveals Stella. Back in the villa, Martin tells his curious competitors about the date. “We had long conversations, found out a lot about each other and also found a lot of things in common,” the professional athlete from Mering tells the group. This alarms the competition and is likely to lead to heated tempers in the next episode.
