God of War Ragnarök: Now finally available for PC gamers

Today, September 19, 2024, at 5 p.m., PC owners can rejoice because that’s when Sony will release the PC port of God of War Ragnarök. There are also new features for PC gamers.

For a long time, the popular God of War game series was exclusively reserved for PlayStation owners, while PC gamers were left empty-handed. That changed when God of War 2022 was also released for PC and computer gamers could finally slip into the skin of the Greek hero. Today is the day for the sequel, God of War Ragnarök: The PC version will be released at 5 p.m.

The story is quickly outlined: Together with his son Atreus, Kratos embarks on a mystical journey in God of War Ragnarök to find answers. In his usual action-packed manner, the Greek demigod fights his way through the Nordic world of the gods, while the threat of Ragnarök continues to grow.

These goodies await PC gamers?

According to Sony, PC gamers will have access to exclusive features. One of these is the ability to set how quickly they want to get help with puzzles in the game settings.

Another new feature is that streamers receive special alerts that were developed specifically for the God of War series. For example, Kratos nods when the stream gets a new follower. The alerts can be downloaded from the Santa Monica Studios website. There is also a full fan kit available for download that contains 4K wallpapers as well as Twitter and Facebook banners.
