Holzgerlingen: Save the date – charity concert by GospelandMore

GospelandMore is holding its benefit concert on Saturday, October 19, 2024 in the Mauritiuskirche Holzgerlingen. Gospel songs and songs from popular church music will be performed. Admission is free.


The gospel choir of the Evangelical Church of Holzgerlingen, GospelandMore, cordially invites you to a special concert on October 19th. In the historic Mauritius Church, which is celebrating its 550th anniversary this year, the choir will present a selection of Christian songs in German and English. Songs with choral settings by Hans-Joachim Eißler and Joakim Arenius, among others, are part of our varied program.

The choir is led by choir director and vocal coach Cordelia Böhm, who also accompanies the choir extensively on the piano.

This year we are collecting donations for WAKISA. Wakisa means “living compassion”. Vivien Kityo and her staff offer support and help to young girls who have become pregnant unintentionally and usually as a result of abuse. They take care of their emotional, physical and mental needs. Medical care, education, practical life support. The girls receive appreciation, dignity and hope.

Join us in looking forward to a moving benefit concert in aid of WAKISA with lots of music, gospel and more. Doors open from 7:00 p.m., the choir concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
