Launch time, leaks and upgrades

Although many EA FC 25 players are content to invest in a few prodigies or compete against their friends in Career Mode, a large portion of the player base is in it for one aspect – Ultimate Team mode. Traditionally, EA Sports will keep Ultimate Team fresh by releasing a barrage of promos throughout the season that bring powerful cards into play.

It looks like the Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) promo will kick off EA FC 25. RTTK is a traditional and popular powerhouse whose gameplay mechanics are tied to the real-life performances of players and clubs in Europe’s international tournaments.

EA FC 25 RTTK is scheduled to begin releasing on September 27, 2024 at 18:00 BST with Team 1.

RTTK Team 2 is scheduled to follow exactly one week later.

RTTK will provide players with dynamic cards, meaning that items can be upgraded over time – but this is dependent on their real-world counterparts meeting certain requirements. In EA FC 25, the following RTTK upgrades are available, according to insiders like ASY FUT:

According to insiders, the following players will be part of EA FC 25 RTTK, be it through packages, as Squad Building Challenge (SBC) rewards, or as objective rewards.
