Davis Cup: ITF announces schedule

The German team will face Canada in the Davis Cup finals in Malaga on November 20. This is stated in the schedule published on Wednesday.

Germany plays in Malaga on the second day

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) published the schedule for the Davis Cup finals in Malaga on Wednesday. The first match will be played by the Spanish home team, who will face the Netherlands on November 19 at 5:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET).

One day later, Germany will enter the tournament. Michael Kohlmann’s team will face Canada on November 20th at 12:00 p.m. It is not yet clear whether top player Alexander Zverev will support the German team in Malaga.

The two final quarter-final matches will take place on November 21. First, the USA will face Canada at 10:00 a.m., while defending champion Italy will not face Argentina until 5:00 p.m.

The German team would play its possible semi-final match against the winner of Spain vs. the Netherlands on November 22nd at 5:00 p.m., the second semi-final would take place the following day from 1:00 p.m. The final will take place on November 24th at 4:00 p.m.
