5 tips for the perfect start into the new MMORPG

There are many things to do in Throne and Liberty right from the start. But some activities cost resources that are better saved for later. We’ll explain what you should look out for when you’re just starting out with the MMORPG.

What are the tips? Our 5 tips in this guide are aimed at all beginners who don’t want to make any mistakes with their character. In Throne and Liberty, it is often better to forego certain activities in order to receive better rewards later.

Of course, you can’t play Throne and Liberty wrong, but it’s sometimes helpful to consciously leave things out so you can benefit from them later. If you don’t follow one of the tips, you won’t have built your character, but it might take a little longer to get the perfect equipment.

Tip No. 1: No dungeons before level 50

Why shouldn’t I do that? The biggest trap in the game probably comes from the main quest. This requires you to complete one of the dungeons in the game in one of the side branches. These also give quite a lot of experience points and upgrade materials.

Although they sound so tempting, you should not open the chest with the loot at the end of the dungeon. To open the chest you pay “Dimensional Contract Token”, a currency that you need for looting in dungeons.

You receive 900 tokens every day. If you grab them early, you’ll be happy about the loot from the dungeon for a short time, but you’ll be disappointed later when there are dungeons with loot for the endgame where your tokens would be better invested.

Tip No. 2: Orders cost time and only pay off later

What do I need to consider when placing orders? Another tip is to avoid signing contracts if possible. The contracts are a kind of additional side quest that you are “forced” to do in the main story. Apart from that, however, you should probably stay away from them until you have reached the maximum level later on.

Here, too, the so-called “Contract Rights” only replenish a little every day, so it’s better to save them up to use them at level 50. Later on, the contracts simply give better rewards and you can do more of them straight away if you’ve saved up the necessary currency.

Tip No. 3: Whoever completes orders must choose the right reward

Which rewards should I choose? In addition to the typical loot, the rewards from the missions always include coins that you can use at the nearby merchant. Here you should especially buy the “Mystic Keys”, which you can use to open hidden treasure chests in the open world.

You can only buy 5 Mystic Keys per day. Once you have bought your 5 keys, you should use your remaining coins for the upgrade materials for your equipment, weapons and jewelry. You can ignore all the other items in the shop for now because they will only be of use later or may not be of use at all.

Tip #4: Save your solo dungeons

You also have to be careful in the solo dungeons: In Throne and Liberty you can go through Taedal’s Tower from level 15. There you fight alone against various bosses, which are gradually unlocked when you reach a higher level and have defeated the original boss.

The bosses give you quite a lot of experience points, but are also a bit challenging, especially if you always take them on as soon as you have just reached the level to unlock them.

You should do these dungeons in your leveling phase, but it’s best to do them when you have to level up to level 50 for the main story. Then you can quickly defeat all the bosses without any problems and quickly level up thanks to the many experience points.

Tip No. 5: You should visit dungeons in the open world regularly

Why should you visit the dungeons regularly? In the dungeons in the open world there is loot, experience points and many monsters to grind. In order to receive rewards there, however, you need another currency, the Abyssal Contract Tokens. These are used in the game to give you rewards in the open world dungeon.

You can grind the dungeons alone or with friends and get loot as long as you have the tokens. But be careful: When night falls, the open world dungeons in Throne and Liberty become a path area and entire guilds are just waiting to take you out.
