Live Updates: Election News from Donald Trump and Kamala Harris

A leading pro-Trump super PAC has bought nearly $16 million more advertising time in key swing states as Republicans work to reduce the advertising advantage that Kamala Harris and her Democratic allies have built in recent weeks.

Over the past two days, MAGA Inc., the super PAC, has reserved a total of about $15.8 million in new ad bookings, starting this week and continuing through Election Day, targeting four top voting fields.

The group increased its bookings by a total of $5.9 million for the year Pennsylvania – including $3.8 million for the Pittsburgh market, $712,000 for the Harrisburg market, $300,000 for the Johnstown market and $1.09 million for the heavily saturated Philadelphia market. Additionally, MAGA Inc. increased its bookings by $4.35 million for the year North Carolina$3 million to its bookings in Georgiaand $2.6 million to its bookings in Arizona.

The cash infusion will help Republicans mitigate an advertising advantage that Democrats have built since Kamala Harris took over the ticket. Between July 22 and today, Democrats have outspent Republicans by about $645 million to $415 million overall on advertising in the presidential campaign, including a total advantage of more than $100 million on digital platforms.

In the key swing states – Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina and Nevada – the fight was closer, but Democrats still have the edge, spending about $482 million to $369 million from Republicans have.
