The shooting star of the Bavarian cabaret and comedy scene, Martin Frank, is launching his own show on BR television: “Frank am Freitag” is a refreshing mix of comedy and talk that not only makes the audience laugh, but also… Also spread optimism and release positive energy. Four episodes of the new show can be seen every Friday on BR television and in the ARD media library from September 13, 2024. In “Frank am Freitag”, Lower Bavarian Martin Frank, who is a welcome guest on BR television’s cabaret shows, becomes the presenter himself: in each episode he invites celebrities from the fields of comedy, acting, sports or music to give the audience and give viewers a good mood kick for the weekend late on Friday evening. The lectures are intended to make the audience laugh and think in equal measure and encourage them to look at life with a smile. In addition to the talks, Martin Frank is sent on a mission in each episode to solve socially relevant issues in an unorthodox way. In another section he will ceremoniously bury the things that bother us in everyday life.
