ELEMENT OF CRIME releases live album and new single “When it gets dark and cold in Berlin” today

In 2023, ELEMENT OF CRIME played five concerts in Berlin, which in their diversity, from small to large, from club to open air, can represent the development of the band that has spanned decades. From the private club (200 people) to Lido (500), SO36 (800), Admiralspalast (1,800) to the Spandau Citadel (9,000). This resulted in the live album “When it gets dark and cold in Berlin”, which is released today.

The title song is also being released as a single today, and the video “When it gets dark and cold in Berlin (Live from the Citadelle)” can be seen here:

The live album is the soundtrack to a documentary that Charly Hübner shot about ELEMENT OF CRIME on this tour.

This film tells the history and present of the band, it’s about music, friendship, an attitude to the world and the secret of making music together for over 30 years.

The new documentary by Charly Hübner “ELEMENT OF CRIME – When it gets dark and cold in Berlin” will be released in cinemas nationwide on October 1, 2024.
