A new one Resident Evil 9 A leak has made the rounds, but it’s raising some serious warning signs. So far there have been countless rumors about the next one resident Evil Game, temporarily synchronized Resident Evil 9 from many of these rumors and based on the expectation that it will be the next main installment in the Capcom series. Although there have been many rumors, there have been no media leaks about the game. A new post on 4chan has garnered attention because it purports to leak our very first look at the Unannounced resident Evil Game. However, it doesn’t quite pass the sniff test.

According to the leak, the game is called Resident Evil Extinction. The name reveal is then backed up by tons of details about the game, including story and gameplay tidbits. This is the first red flag. A whole wall of text with intricate details is usually a sign that something is fake, simply because that’s not how game leaks work. It’s almost impossible to find out so many details about a secret project. It’s not impossible, as it actually happens, but when it does happen, it’s usually not the anonymous sources on 4chan or Reddit who are sitting on the jackpot. In short, we’ve seen many more fake leaks like this on 4chan than real ones. However, there are examples of the latter, so this alone isn’t enough to write off the leak.

What’s worse is the leaked media in question simply looks like a manipulated image Resident Evil 4 Assets, including Leon, but now he has a beard. Again, there is nothing about the image that definitively confirms that it is fake, but everything about the image definitely looks fake. However, we’ll let you draw your conclusions by checking it out for yourself.

If the leak is true, there will be a new protagonist named Adrian Clark. This isn’t a write-off either, because Capcom has surprised resident Evil Fans with a brand new protagonist Resident Evil 7. However, it is more common for it to use its already established characters than to introduce a new one.

Speaking of Capcom: The company has not yet commented on this alleged leak. We don’t expect this to change, but if it does, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly. Meanwhile, continue adding as many grains of salt as you can find.
