Stefanie Heinzmann is “on fire” with the Bergische Symphoniker

Solingen. The young Swiss singer Stefanie Heinzmann once appeared in the orbit of Stefan Raab’s shows. He turned her into an entertainer who has long since established herself and freed herself from the shackles of TV.

In the meantime she worked closely with the first concertmaster of the Bergische Symphoniker. Miki Kekenj is close to pop music through hip-hop, but he also founded the cross-over ensemble Takeover.

Orchestra will play many facets of soul music

Just like with “On Fire”, it’s about fusing templates from pop music with classic sounds and presenting them in a new sound. For Stefanie Heinzmann, this is all connected with a lot of soul music, which always tolerates excursions into classical, jazz, blues and even rock music.

Heinzmann and Kekenj are a well-rehearsed team that will now perform the Swiss singer’s songs with the Bergische Symphoniker opposite Takeover in the large format with a complete orchestra.

The Bergische Symphoniker are already showing signs of anticipation. They say: “It will be interesting to see which classic quotes arranger Miki Kekenj incorporates into the pieces and which instruments can nestle into the sometimes silky, sometimes soulfully powerful singing of Stefanie Heinzmann.”
