Timmendorfer Strand – This Saturday the ice hockey fever returns to Timmendorfer Strand: The Beach devil Start your preparation for the Regional league season 2024/2025. At 6:30 p.m Hamburger SV welcomed to the ETC Timmendorfer Strand for the first test match.

With the first regional league game on October 13th against the Harzer Falken in sight, the Beach Devils are looking forward to finally being back on the ice after the summer break. Following the test match, the season opening will be celebrated with a team presentation in the Penalty restaurant. This gives fans the opportunity to experience their team up close and toast the new season together with the players.

Ice hockey legends remain loyal to the club

This season, particular attention is being paid to the two long-standing players Patrick Saggau and Dennis Overbeckwho will continue to wear the Beach Devils jersey. Saggau, who has scored an impressive 16 goals and provided 31 assists in 35 games since his return, remains a force to be reckoned with. “Last season was a lot of fun. “The schedule is family-friendly and I can’t leave Ofen alone to raise the boys,” says Saggau with a smile about his contract extension.

Dennis “Oven” Overbeck, who has been playing for Timmendorf since the 2007/2008 season, is entering what is supposed to be his “last season” at the age of 39. trainer Sven Gösch praises his continued importance: “Oven is an important part of the team in all areas.” I am all the more pleased that he is postponing his ice hockey pension a little longer.”
