The three-time Formula 1 world champion then received a fine from the FIA ​​and had to do community service, but Verstappen didn’t want to let that go. In the press conferences after qualifying on Saturday and after the race on Sunday, he deliberately gave brief answers before finally answering journalists’ questions outside the official FIA rooms.

Although the 26-year-old received a lot of support for his performance from fans and fellow competitors who see the punishment as “ridiculous”, Sky Formula 1 expert Nico Rosberg, for example, believes that Verstappen is having this secondary theater of war in the middle of a World Championship fight don’t need it.
