20. Pannonia Historic – The rally with a heart for vintage cars started in Gols

The first day, Friday, begins with a “Seewinkel Prologue” including “Grand Prix – 700 Years of Frauenkirchen” in the largest wine-growing community in Austria, the “rally capital” Gols, with a welcome in the wine culture house.

On Saturday we will start the big “Lake Neusiedl Marathon” from Gols on exciting, varied streets. The rally will end on the main square of the beautiful community of Halbturn with a final special stage. The award ceremony will also take place here in the newly built community center.

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the classic cars will come to the center of Mattersburg: from 12.15 p.m., spectators can experience the old vehicles and their drivers up close at a stop.

ARBÖ Burgenland provides technical support with classic car specialist Christian Tomschitz. “In total, a good 400 kilometers are driven in the rally.” This is a challenge for the drivers and their old cars. “That’s why the ARBÖ provides roadside assistance on both days so that the drivers reach the finish line in their oldies,” says ARBÖ country director Marin Heissenberger.

“The inventory of historic vehicles in Austria is constantly growing. That’s why ARBÖ has built up its expertise for classic and classic cars over decades – whether with two or four wheels – and offers this in addition to its service for modern vehicles,” says Heissenberger about the range of classic vehicles at ARBÖ.
