Dating instead of beating – Koei Tecmo brings back characters from Dead or Alive

On the occasion of the Tokyo Game Show, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo showed a trailer for the first time Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme. Unfortunately, this is not a new part of the fighting game series, but rather a spin-off that focuses entirely on the female characters Dead or alive Concentrated.

On Venus Island you can date and get to know six ladies from the series Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme titled as “Immersive Romance Adventure Game”. While the details are still in more detail, you can probably win the heart of the selected lady through various interactions and be invited on a date with her. So far only Misaki is known as the love interest, others will be revealed after October 7th.

We can only hope that this time Team Ninja will at least forego the embarrassing meat inspection that the predecessors of the Dead or Alive Xtremeseries still represented. While the series began on the Xbox as a prepubescent beach volleyball game, later parts were more of a voyeur and harassment simulation. In addition to numerous mini-games that showed Kasumi’s team barely dressed in the best male gaze perspective, you could also touch the figures in a VR version.

Probably also because of such controversies and poor taste Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme Initially only released in Asia and Japan for Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC. The release is currently targeted for early 2025.
