The game in the seventh round of the 1st Class South (Upper Austria) between UFC Attergau and Vöcklabrucker SC ended in a fair 3-3 draw. Despite being behind and a yellow-red card for the guests, both teams showed great fighting spirit and offered the spectators numerous exciting moments. Simon Sagerer from UFC Attergau and Abid Mujagic from Vöcklabrucker SC particularly shone with two goals each and had a significant impact on the encounter.

Early guidance and quick response

The first big chance for the guests came in the first minute when Petar Cotic narrowly missed the goal. But the UFC Attergau didn’t let themselves be bitten for long either and recorded their first shot on goal in the 9th minute, but it missed the target. However, the Vöcklabruck team were not impressed by this and took advantage of the insecurities in the hosts’ defense. An own goal in the 54th minute brought Vöcklabrucker SC back into the game. Christian Seifriedsberger pushed the ball into his own goal.

The guests followed up and were awarded a penalty in the 57th minute, which Abid Mujagic safely converted. Vöcklabrucker SC was leading 3-2 in the 59th minute. The party became more and more heated, which also had an impact on discipline in the 71st minute. Petar Cotic from Vöcklabrucker SC received a yellow-red card after a foul and had to leave the field. Despite being outnumbered, the guests held firm and prevented further goals. The final whistle in the 90th minute sealed a thrilling 3-3 draw, which earned both teams a deserved point.
