A huge fumble is a highlight of Week 5 for Notre Dame.

Shortly after Notre Dame tied the game 7-0, the Louisville Cardinals appeared to have a big play when quarterback Tyler Shough went on a 46-yard run. But cornerback Leonard Moore and safety Xavier Watts hit him and Moore forced a fumble that was recovered by Jaiden Ausberry.

This gave the Irish the ball back into good field position – and a seemingly promising Cardinals attack was wiped out.

Instead, the Irish were in a good position to score. Notre Dame’s defense is a strength of the team and it showed in this game.
