RL-Middle: WAC amateurs continue upward trend

The WAC amateurs took three points in the championship race thanks to a 2-0 win on the ninth matchday of the Regionalliga Mitte at USV St. Anna.

The Lavanttalers therefore took advantage of FC Hertha Wels’s surprising defeat (1:2) against the LASK amateurs the day before and became the first target of DSV Leoben. St. Anna remains in the middle of the table with twelve points.

Steyr is clearly defeated by Rieder amateurs

Meanwhile, SK Vorwärts Steyr has to accept another setback. For the Upper Austrians, the negative trend continues after a 3-0 defeat in the Upper Austria derby against the young team from SV Ried.

Steyr therefore slips to 15th place, while Rieder jumps up to fourth place in the table.

The meeting between SV Wildon and DSC Wonisch ended with a 0-0 draw. Wildon has managed to climb from the bottom of the table to 12th place, while the DSC remains in tenth place with twelve points.
