Shops open on Sunday and family day on September 29, 2024

Nienburg. The Nienburg Old Town Festival 2024 will quickly be history again. While some are sure to sleep off their intoxication on Sunday, others are looking forward to another beautiful day in the city – with shopping on Sunday and “Family Day” in the Südring/Zu den Köhlerberge area.

If you want to buy yourself or something else nice, there are many options in the city. In the city center around Lange Straße, the shops are open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The shops on the other side of the Weser on Oyler Straße remain closed.

If you are looking for new furniture, you might find just the right thing at Heka during the Sunday sales. It is open at both locations – both on Celler Straße and on Hannoversche Straße/corner of Immenweg. Both in the city center and at Heka there is a colorful entertainment program with music, cabaret and attractions for children.

Shops on the Südring are also open on Sundays. “Family Day” with activities for children begins at 11 a.m. The shops only open for sales and advice at 1 p.m. These include the three car dealers Autohaus Südring, Nobbe and Schlesner, the kitchen and bed specialist store and the family gardening company Woelk and Tedox. DBM presents the indoor and outdoor exhibition.
