Infinix Zero Flip: Smartphone starts as a fairly inexpensive foldable with decent features, update guarantee and second display

Not entirely surprisingly, mind you, Infinix has now officially introduced the Zero Flip. It is a foldable smartphone, which is also said to be relatively cheap. The model will be offered in two color variants, with a price of around $600 being communicated. The price should also depend on the region; there is no precise information yet on a launch in Europe.

The Infinix Zero Flip measures 87.8 x 73.4 x 16.04 millimeters when folded and is equipped with a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED when unfolded. This is said to have a PWM frequency of 2,160 Hz, the refresh rate itself is specified as 120 Hz. According to the manufacturer, the panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,640 pixels can completely cover the P3 color space. The external display is also an AMOLED, measures 3.64 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 1,056 x 1,066 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass is intended to protect the actual panel from scratches and breaks. The main display should survive 400,000 folding processes.

Infinix uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 as the SoC, the RAM measures 8 gigabytes in the basic configuration. The internal memory is 512 gigabytes. A 5G cellular modem is integrated into the mid-range SoC Dimensity 8020; we were able to experience the performance of the chip in the Motorola Edge 40, for example. Both the main camera and the additional ultra-wide-angle camera have a resolution of 50 megapixels, the front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels.

The 4,720 mAh battery can be charged with up to 70 watts. An operating system based on Android 14 is preinstalled, with two major updates to the operating system and three years of security updates to be carried out.
