The alliance government is using the Laddu dispute as a political weapon, says Botcha Satyanarayana

Visakhapatnam: YSRCP MLC Botcha Satyanarayana demanded a third-party probe into the TTD-Laddu dispute and alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was not seeking a CBI probe as he was exploiting it to gain political advantage.

The MLC, at a media conference here on Saturday, expressed concern over the alliance government’s “distraction game” and wondered whether it was appropriate to politicize TTD laddu to suit Naidu’s political motives.

Regarding former Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s scheduled visit to Tirumala and temple darshan, Satyanarayana argued that Jagan canceled it keeping the larger interest of the people in mind and avoiding any inconvenience to the general public.

“By issuing a notice, the police have created a hurdle for Jagan Mohan Reddy in planning a trip to Tirumala. It is obvious that the BJP has collaborated with the TDP in this regard. Also, the saffron party tried to stop the former chief minister from traveling to Tirumala by involving party cadres from different parts of the country and staging protests,” the MLC expressed concern.

Instead of drawing attention to the plight of 4,000 contract workers who were abruptly sacked from work at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, the YSRCP MLC pointed out that the state government was deliberately neglecting the core issues by blowing the Laddu dispute out of proportion.

After the formation of the alliance government, Andhra Pradesh was stuck in debt of Rs 25,000 crore. However, the common man will continue to be deprived of food as inflation is skyrocketing, the MLC said.

Earlier, YSRCP leaders performed puja at TTD Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Rushikonda. Even after the 100-day mark was passed, they criticized the government for not keeping the promises it had made.

“At a time when people realized the mistakes committed by the government, the laddu issue was brought to the forefront so that the CM could get away with his mistakes. It is nothing new for Naidu to politicize TTD to suit his political needs. “The responsibility of transparently disclosing the facts regarding the addition of adulterated ghee lies with the state government,” demanded former IT minister Gudivada Amarnath, adding that people do not have trust in the committees formed by the state government to investigate the laddu matter. would have arguments.

No matter how many challenges Jagan Mohan Reddy faces, no one can stop him from visiting Tirumala for darshan, claimed Amarnath.
